The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Seaside, OR, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. By providing a tuition-free program, we ensure accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in hands-on education covering organic farming practices, food literacy, and community engagement. Throughout the Fellowship, individuals partner with local organizations to grow and distribute diverse crops, facilitate educational sessions on health and nutrition, maintain community and school gardens, and boost access to fresh, healthy foods through farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives. After a six-month immersive experience at our farm, Fellows enter a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge and skills to make a practical difference in their communities. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March for a transformative journey that runs from May to October, equipping them to make significant contributions to their local food systems.
