About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Sherwood, OR, is dedicated to empowering the next generation of food advocates through a comprehensive training program that champions social, environmental, and economic justice in our food systems. This fellowship offers selected individuals the unique opportunity to engage in extensive organic food system education via an immersive six-month experiential residency at our campus. Following this, participants embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to implement impactful strategies that enhance food access and literacy, support community gardens, and promote farmers markets. By eliminating tuition fees, we ensure that this transformative program is accessible to all passionate individuals looking to drive meaningful change in their communities. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications by March for the experience that typically runs from May to October, creating a future where healthy food is accessible to everyone.
