About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Stayton, OR, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Our program empowers selected Fellows through comprehensive training and hands-on experience in organic agriculture, food education, and community engagement without any tuition fees to ensure accessibility. Over six months, participants will immerse themselves in experiential learning at the Allegheny Farm, gaining skills in crop cultivation, food system advocacy, and ecological literacy. Following this training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, where they partner with local non-profit organizations to champion initiatives such as school gardens, farmer's markets, and health education programs, ensuring broader access to nutritious food. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March to join us in making a meaningful impact in the food landscape of our communities.
