About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Sutherlin, OR, offers a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about promoting a just food system. Our program empowers Fellows through comprehensive training in organic food system education, enabling them to advocate for social, environmental, and economic equity within their communities. Without charging tuition, we prioritize accessibility to ensure that aspiring leaders can participate fully. Throughout the six-month experiential program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows will gain hands-on experience in areas such as growing diversified crops, leading educational initiatives, and supporting local food networks. Following their training, Fellows will engage in a Community Action Year, where they can apply their learning and collaborate with non-profit organizations to enhance food access, develop community gardens, and foster food and ecological literacy. We welcome applications until March each year, with experiences typically running from May to October.
