Sweet Home Emergency Ministries (SHEM) is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in Sweet Home, Oregon, who are experiencing hardship due to limited or no income. Our food pantry offers a crucial lifeline, supplying one food box per household each month, ensuring that every person can enjoy three meals a day for three to five days. We wholeheartedly encourage our clients to visit each week for fresh fruits, vegetables, and bread, reinforcing our commitment to nutrition and community well-being. To best serve our clients, we kindly request that applications for food boxes be submitted by 11:30 AM, allowing our dedicated volunteers to efficiently prepare and distribute the necessary resources.
