MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Sweet Home, OR, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support as required. For those who prefer to take charge of their journey independently, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is a handy tool that supports self-management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need more intensive interventions after trying MOVE! services.
