Oregon Project Independence (OPI) is a dedicated statewide initiative in Talent, OR, designed to empower individuals aged 60 and older, those living with dementia, and residents with disabilities in certain counties to maintain their independence and live safely at home. With a commitment to enhancing quality of life, OPI offers crucial services such as personal care assistance, home care, chore services, and the provision of assistive technology devices. Additionally, participants can access adult day care, respite care, skilled nursing care, and home-delivered meals, all available on a Sliding Scale Fee Schedule to accommodate varying income levels. Upon requesting services, a trained staff member from the Area Agency on Aging will conduct an in-home assessment to evaluate your unique needs, ensuring that you receive a tailored plan aimed at fostering your independence and well-being through the support of OPI.
