At Oregon WIC in The Dalles, we are dedicated to promoting healthy food habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers vital food assistance, comprehensive nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and essential referrals for healthcare services. Amidst the challenges posed by COVID-19, we continue our mission by conducting appointments via phone, email, and video chat to ensure safety while serving our community. We have also broadened our eligibility criteria and enhanced the purchasing options available to our participants.
