About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Troutdale, OR is dedicated to training and empowering passionate individuals to champion a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This comprehensive program is tuition-free, promoting accessibility while offering participants hands-on education in organic farming and sustainable food practices. Our Fellows engage in diverse activities such as growing and distributing crops on market-style farms, implementing health education programs, maintaining community gardens, and integrating food literacy into school curricula. During the six-month immersive learning experience at our campus, participants also develop crucial partnerships with local non-profits to enhance community food access and support farmers markets. We invite prospective Fellows to apply each year by March, with the transformative experience running from May to October, equipping the next generation of food advocates and educators.
