Oregon WIC, located in Veneta, OR, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers essential services including nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding support, and healthcare referrals to empower families towards healthier lifestyles. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted by providing remote WIC appointments through phone, email, and video chats, and have broadened eligibility criteria and purchasing options to assist those affected.
