About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in West Linn, OR, is dedicated to empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our Fellowship program provides a comprehensive, tuition-free education in organic food systems, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring advocates. Participants engage in a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain hands-on training in sustainable agriculture, community engagement, and food literacy. Following this, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to implement practical solutions such as growing and distributing diverse crops, supporting farmers markets, maintaining community gardens, and integrating food education into schools. We believe in nurturing the next generation of leaders who will foster healthy food access and build resilient communities. Applications are open until March, with experiences running from May to October each year.
