About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in White City, OR, is dedicated to shaping the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Our program equips Fellows with comprehensive training and practical experience in organic agriculture and food justice, empowering them to make impactful changes in their communities. Through hands-on learning, Fellows engage in growing and distributing diverse crops, conducting innovative educational sessions in health care, and nurturing local school and community gardens. We emphasize the importance of food and ecological literacy, support farmers markets, and foster relationships that enhance access to healthy foods. The Fellowship is tuition-free, promoting inclusivity and accessibility. Selected Fellows spend six transformative months at our farm, followed by a Community Action Year, working alongside non-profit partners to drive meaningful food system change. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
