The Diabetes Prevention Program, based in Butler, PA, is dedicated to empowering adults to make meaningful lifestyle changes that significantly reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Offered by Adagio Health, this program features virtual classes accessible to eligible participants across numerous counties, including Allegheny, Beaver, and Westmoreland. Our curriculum, approved by the CDC, guides participants through essential skills for effective weight loss, increased physical activity, and stress management. With the support of a trained lifestyle coach and a community of peers sharing similar goals, participants engage in 16 interactive sessions followed by 6 monthly follow-ups to reinforce their commitment to healthier living.
