ElderShare, located in Carlisle, PA, is dedicated to combating food insecurity among seniors aged 60 and older by providing essential food assistance through a monthly food box program. Designed for those with household incomes that meet specific guidelines, ElderShare ensures that its participants receive vital nutrition to support their health and well-being. This program supplements other food assistance that seniors may already be receiving, while ensuring they do not participate in the USDA’s Commodity Supplemental Food Program. To access this invaluable service, seniors are required to complete a registration form at one of our partner agencies that distribute the boxes.
