ElderShare, located in Chambersburg, PA, is a vital program from the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank dedicated to supporting seniors aged 60 and older by providing monthly food assistance. Our mission is to ensure that older adults have access to nutritious food that meets their essential dietary needs, especially for those with household incomes below certain guidelines. Unlike other food programs, ElderShare is designed to complement existing food assistance, providing extra support without overlap for those who are not enrolled in the USDA’s Commodity Supplemental Food Program.
