The Mae S. Gelb Kosher Food Pantry, located in Clarks Summit, PA, is dedicated to providing vital food assistance and essential household items to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. Established in January 2001, our pantry serves a diverse clientele, including isolated seniors on fixed incomes, unemployed adults seeking temporary relief, and community members facing challenging circumstances due to health or family issues. Clients can easily access our services through self-referrals or referrals from family, friends, and local social service agencies. Our team ensures a supportive process, requiring a brief appointment with a social worker to determine eligibility for pantry services. If qualified, clients receive personal guidance while selecting food and household essentials from our pantry. We are proud to operate with the support of the Gelb Foundation, along with the generosity of local community members, synagogues, and Jewish organizations, all working together to alleviate hunger and promote dignity during trying times.
