Located in Darby, PA, Community Support Services is committed to enhancing the lives of residents in Chester and Delaware County through essential resources and inclusive programs. We operate an Emergency Food Pantry to ensure access to food assistance for those in need, alongside free computer and internet access to support digital literacy. Our after-school programs and YMCA summer camp, in collaboration with Rocky Run YMCA, offer enriching activities for youth. Additionally, we provide vital job training, career development resources, and employment search assistance, complemented by information on healthy lifestyles, healthcare, and mental health to promote overall well-being.

Senior Boxes serves low-income residents aged 60 and older in Darby, PA, and throughout Delaware County who are in need of food assistance. Our mission is to alleviate hunger among seniors by providing nutritious food boxes to those who are not receiving support from other programs. To participate, seniors must visit our office during registration hours on Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Food boxes are made available for pickup on the second Tuesday of each month between 12:00 P.M. and 1:45 P.M., and we encourage seniors to collect their boxes in person unless they have an assigned Proxy. In case of illness or other qualifying circumstances, both the senior and Proxy must visit our Pantry Office to complete necessary paperwork. We are committed to ensuring that seniors in our community have access to vital food resources each month.
