Located in Dover, PA, the Meals on Wheels Program at Golden Connections Community Center is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to homebound seniors in our community. We deliver seven nutritious meals each week, expertly prepared by local caterers and designed by a registered dietitian to meet federal nutritional standards. Our service not only ensures that seniors have access to balanced and delicious meals but also offers vital social support through three weekly volunteer visits. To participate in our program, eligibility must be established through a York County Area Agency on Aging Care Manager. Once authorization is secured, our caring team will deliver hot and cold meals directly to seniors’ homes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, ensuring they enjoy the nourishment and companionship they deserve.
