ElderShare is a compassionate initiative of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank located in Ephrata, PA, committed to supporting seniors aged 60 and older who have limited income. We provide a monthly box of nutritious food, ensuring that elder community members can meet their essential dietary needs. This program acts as a crucial supplement to any other food assistance they may be receiving, with the exception that participants cannot simultaneously benefit from the USDA’s Commodity Supplemental Food Program. Seniors interested in this essential food assistance are encouraged to fill out a registration form at one of our partner agencies that distribute these boxes, helping us ensure that no senior faces hunger alone.
