The Old Orthodox Church of the Nativity, an Old Rite parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, has been a cornerstone of the Erie community since its establishment in 1919. Overlooking Erie’s bayfront, the church supports spiritual growth and connection among its congregation. Services include Divine Liturgies held weekly, along with opportunities for confession and community events. The church not only serves the faithful with worship but also engages in activities that strengthen social bonds and promote acts of love and service. Through its rich heritage, the parish addresses local challenges and fosters a nurturing environment. Residents are encouraged to explore the extensive support services available and become active participants in this vibrant faith community.
