ElderShare, part of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, is dedicated to addressing the nutritional needs of seniors aged 60 and older in Hanover, PA. Our program provides essential food assistance through a monthly box of nutritious food, ensuring that low-income elders receive the support they need to maintain their health and well-being. ElderShare is designed to complement other food assistance programs, provided that participants are not enrolled in the USDA’s monthly Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). To enroll, seniors are encouraged to complete a registration form at one of our partner agencies, where they can sign up to receive their food box. Together, we strive to ensure that our seniors have access to the nourishment they deserve.
