Kids Against Pressure (KAP) is a dedicated after-school program located in Reading, PA, focused on empowering Latino students in grades 3-5 with essential life skills. Our mission is to foster resilience, self-esteem, and strong conflict resolution abilities, while providing vital education on drug and alcohol prevention, nutrition, personal hygiene, and managing peer pressure. By promoting diversity and addressing bullying, we create a supportive environment that encourages personal growth. KAP operates weekly throughout the school year at five elementary schools in Reading, ensuring that children have a safe and enriching space where they can thrive and learn.
