ElderShare, a dedicated initiative of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank located in Waynesboro, PA, aims to support seniors aged 60 and older by providing essential food assistance through a monthly food box. Designed for individuals whose household income falls within specified guidelines, this program ensures that seniors have access to nutritious foods that meet their basic dietary needs. ElderShare is complementary to other food assistance programs, excluding those currently enrolled in the USDA’s Commodity Supplemental Food Program. To receive a food box, seniors must complete a registration form at one of our partner agencies, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.
