MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Irmo, SC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans by providing comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to personalized weight management options that cater to their unique needs and preferences. Through a range of support, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home management, we empower Veterans to achieve their weight loss goals. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app offers practical tools, while Veterans struggling despite participation may access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
