MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Beresford, SD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity each year, ensuring they are referred to appropriate weight management resources that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for at-home support. For those who prefer self-directed management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may continue to face challenges after engaging with MOVE! Our dedicated team encourages Veterans interested in weight management to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward better health.
