MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Box Elder, SD, is dedicated to enhancing the health of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and guided towards appropriate weight management services tailored to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of support options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, while Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight may access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options.
