MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Brookings, SD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to serve every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities by conducting annual obesity screenings, providing personalized referrals to weight management services, and offering a variety of tailored treatment options. We offer supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! services, allowing Veterans to engage in weight management from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers those who prefer self-management strategies. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery as needed.
