South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children) in Brookings is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years old, by promoting healthy food habits. Our comprehensive program offers vital nutrition education, supplemental foods, and breastfeeding promotion, as well as referrals for essential health care services. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our services to be primarily accessible by phone, with in-person appointments available upon request to ensure that families continue to receive the support they need during these critical early years.
