Located in Canton, SD, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and has access to tailored resources that accommodate their unique needs and preferences. MOVE! offers a variety of effective options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support, along with the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who wish to manage their weight independently. For Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
