The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), affectionately referred to as 'The Senior Box Program,' is a vital USDA initiative located in Castlewood, SD, dedicated to providing free food assistance to older adults aged 60 and above who are on limited incomes. Through this program, eligible seniors receive monthly food boxes filled with nutritious staples, including cheese, juice, milk, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entrée.
