About Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), also known as The Senior Box Program, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income adults aged 60 and older in Colton, SD. Each month, we distribute nutritious food boxes filled with staples such as cheese, milk, juice, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entrée, ensuring that our seniors have access to healthy meals. Our mission is to alleviate hunger and promote better health among our elderly community members by removing barriers to food access and offering a warm, supportive environment where they can find the nourishment they need.
