Located in Colton, South Dakota, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthier food choices among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers vital nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, and robust breastfeeding promotion and support, along with essential referrals for healthcare services. To ensure continued support during COVID-19, most services are conveniently available by phone, with in-person consultations provided by appointment only when necessary.
