Situated in Custer, SD, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through personalized weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is annually screened for obesity and connected to appropriate weight management resources tailored to their individual needs. We offer a variety of support options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which combines in-home messaging with clinician contact. For those who prefer a more self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to track their progress on their own terms. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent weight challenges.
