MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Dell Rapids, SD, through personalized weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and provide tailored referrals to a variety of effective weight management solutions. From engaging group sessions and convenient telephone coaching to TeleMOVE! in-home support and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent tracking, we offer an array of options to meet the unique preferences of our Veterans. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who need further assistance after participating in our program. Veterans interested in improving their health can easily connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to explore how they can participate and start their journey towards a healthier life.
