South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children) serves Dell Rapids, SD, by offering vital food assistance and nutrition education to low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our program focuses on promoting healthy eating habits while supplying supplemental nutritious foods, fostering breastfeeding support, and providing essential referrals for healthcare services. In response to COVID-19, we emphasize convenience, allowing most services to be completed by phone, while also accommodating in-person appointments when necessary.
