The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), frequently referred to as 'The Senior Box Program', is dedicated to serving the nutritional needs of limited-income adults aged 60 and older in Eagle Butte, SD. As a USDA program, CSFP provides essential food assistance through monthly distributions of nutritious food boxes that include items like cheese, juice, milk, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entrée. Our mission is to alleviate food insecurity and ensure that seniors have access to emergency food resources that promote health and well-being within the community.
