South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children) in Edgemont is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and young children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families through essential services such as nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, and support for breastfeeding. We also connect families to vital health care resources, ensuring comprehensive care for both mothers and their children. While many of our services are available through phone consultations, we offer in-person appointments when necessary to accommodate individual needs. With a focus on promoting better food habits and overall well-being, South Dakota WIC is here to support families in their journey to health.
