About South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children)
Located in Elk Point, South Dakota, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutritional habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers essential services including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for healthcare, all aimed at ensuring the wellbeing of mothers and their young ones in our community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we adapt our services to meet your needs, with most consultations available by phone and in-person appointments offered as necessary.
