MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Ellsworth Air Force Base, SD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management strategies. Our mission is to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity on an annual basis, providing tailored referrals to various weight management services that align with their individual needs. With options ranging from group sessions and telephone lifestyle coaching to TeleMOVE! for in-home support and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management, we aim to empower Veterans on their personal health journeys. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who face continued challenges with weight-related issues after engaging with our program.
