At South Dakota WIC in Ellsworth Afb, we are dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program focuses on promoting healthy eating habits through essential services including personalized nutrition education, access to nutritious supplemental foods, and comprehensive breastfeeding promotion and support. Additionally, we connect families with vital health care resources to ensure holistic well-being. During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we prioritize safety by offering most of our services through phone consultations, while also providing in-person appointments when necessary. We invite eligible participants to join us in achieving better health for themselves and their children.
