South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old, in Flandreau, SD. Through our Supplemental Food Program, we promote healthy eating habits by offering essential nutrition education, supplemental foods, expert breastfeeding support, and vital referrals for healthcare services. Understanding the unique challenges posed by COVID-19, we prioritize convenience and safety by offering most services remotely, while still providing in-person appointments when necessary or requested. Our mission is to empower families with the resources they need for a healthier future.
