Mobile Food Distribution, a vital initiative of Feeding South Dakota, provides essential food assistance to individuals and families in Fort Pierre and across the state. Our mission is to alleviate hunger by delivering emergency food options, including fresh and frozen produce, meat, dairy products, shelf-stable items, and ready-to-eat meals, tailored to the availability of resources at the time. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing each household to receive nutritious food once a month to help support their wellbeing. If needed, individuals can designate a proxy to pick up food by completing the TEFAP Proxy Form with a photo ID.
