The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Garretson, SD, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Our free program offers a comprehensive, year-long learning experience designed to empower participants with essential knowledge about diabetes and its management. Catering to both English and Spanish speakers, we provide six informative e-booklets that align with participants' needs after diagnosis. Monthly e-newsletters are packed with seasonal tips and valuable resources. Enrollees are also invited to engage in our interactive 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can connect with ADA professionals, learn about the vital relationship between diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways.
