MOVE! is a dedicated weight management and health promotion program located in Gettysburg, SD, focused on enhancing the lives of Veterans through comprehensive support and tailored solutions. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing them with access to various weight management services that cater to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a range of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician contact. Veterans who prefer self-management can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app, while those who face ongoing challenges may explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery alternatives.
