The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in Groton, South Dakota, also known as The Senior Box Program, is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to low-income seniors aged 60 and older. Each month, eligible participants receive essential food items in a free monthly box that includes a variety of nutritious products such as cheese, juice, milk, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entrée. Our mission is to support older adults in accessing emergency food resources and to promote better health through balanced nutrition.
