Located in Hill City, SD, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, providing tailored referrals to various weight management options that align with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a range of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! that facilitates in-home support through messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, for Veterans experiencing persistent weight challenges, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
