South Dakota WIC in Hot Springs is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers vital services including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for crucial health care. In response to the ongoing pandemic, we prioritize safety by allowing most services to be conducted by phone, while also providing in-person appointments when necessary.
