Located in Jefferson, South Dakota, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to improving the nutritional well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission revolves around fostering healthy food habits through various services, including nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and essential referrals for healthcare. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our services can be conveniently accessed by phone, although we are happy to accommodate in-person appointments when necessary, ensuring that families receive the support they need during these challenging times.
