South Dakota WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) in Lake Andes, SD, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to support families through vital nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, and initiatives promoting breastfeeding. We also provide vital referrals to health care services, ensuring comprehensive support for our communities. In response to COVID-19, we offer the convenience of completing most services by phone, while in-person appointments are available when necessary, ensuring that assistance is both accessible and responsive to the needs of our families.
