At MEALS Program Inc. in Lemmon, SD, we are dedicated to delivering hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors across 16 communities in western South Dakota on weekdays. Our mission is to ensure that seniors aged 60 and older have access to essential nutrition, supportive services, and companionship through our friendly volunteer network. Each meal delivery not only provides sustenance but also includes nutrition information, fostering socialization and connection among participants. We operate on a donation basis, adhering to suggested income guidelines, and offer a sliding scale for those under 60, while ensuring no one is turned away based on their ability to pay. Food stamps and EBT cards are also accepted, allowing us to serve our community with care and compassion.
